This is a unique picture book for kids about all kinds of animal jokes and riddles. I just loved the book, and laughed out loud while reading it. Being a children’s writer, I can only imagine the process it would take to write and compile all the photographs and jokes.
For instance, a question such as why did the chicken cross the road has many varied answers.Using clever animal jokes, puns, riddles, fantastic images, rhymes, and more, this book examines animal humor in everyday life. Readers will learn how humor is shaped by language and culture and be motivated to use it in their own writing.
I can just imagine reading this book to a child from 3 to 8 and beyond. It is a book that children will learn from time and time again. What a great and wonderful contribution to the world of picture books.
