You Got This by Helaine Becker (63)

This is a wonderful book for kids and tweens of all ages for how to be your best stress-free self!

This is so important in our culture and world. Kids are overstressed, and some kids are told either directly or indirectly that they are not good enough. This book erases all of these negative messages, and allows kids of all ages to experience the kind of freedom from anxiety that we can only dream of.

Life can be stressful, even for kids. And sometimes it feels overwhelming. But it doesn’t have to be!  We can destress our lives by living in the moment and enjoying each second of our lives.

Every day, we each have a chance to have fun and get going on our dreams. All we have to do is believe that all will be well and that we have the inner resources to do anything our heart desires.

As the reader flips through the pages of this wonderful book, there will be one hundred easy tips to reduce anxiety, plan for success, deal with drama in our lives, and inject a bit of happy into “meh” days.

The overall message that Becker has for kids is you’ve got this!  Oh what a great message for kids of all ages!

I will be suggesting this book to kids of all ages within my parish and to parents who have kids who are struggling.

Here is another Becker book that every parent, child and adolescent should have!
