This book fits under the mini-challenge for this month for the Canadian Book Review challenge. It was fun reading a few Christmas books! I will be posting this one as part of that challenge.
Christmas is a time for laughter and joy, a time for giving and forgiving, a time for making friends and re-affirming family rituals. It is a time for redemption. It is a time for love as well.
Christmas is also a time to tell stories, especially so, it would seem, in Canada. There is something about Christmas stories. Perhaps it is the cold north wind outside or the warm hearth inside that inspires these Christmas tales. Many of these tales are comic, even raucous, some re ironic, if not acerbic, and a few are sad, dark stories.
This anthology includes Christmas murder and mystery stories as well as science fiction and fantasy tales.
So, gather around the fireplace or tuck yourself into bed and enjoy reading these charming and disarming Christmas stories.
I just love the Christmas season! And these stories illustrate why.
