Canadian Celebrations Series: Fall Fairs by Heather C. Hudak (60)

Oh, who doesn’t like fall fairs? It is a GREAT way to celebrate the end of summer and those endless days of light and warmth.

Fall fairs are like huge carnivals. There are rides, and games, and entertainment. And we can’t forget the food.  No way!!!!

There is so much to see and hear. There are so many distinct smells. People are having fun and families are together. It is SO great!!!!

Oh, and we can’t forget the demolition derby’s.  They are so loud yet so exciting to watch. Just wear ear plugs if you are sensitive to really loud sound, because they is loud!

Heather Hudak does a great job to illustrate and write this book, and all the Canadian Celebrations in Canada which I will be reviewing in the next few posts. I just fell for her books. After I read the first one, I knew that I would have to read them all. Not only did it allow me to imagine myself as a child again, but it made me smile and gave me a real lift.

I recommend these children’s books to anyone who loves Canadian holidays!  It is a series that will definitely make you smile and wish that you could go back to being a kid, even if it is in your imagination.
