After Hours by Darrell Epp (53)

This is a wonderful book of poems for the younger audience so far as I can see.  I enjoyed the read though, and will buy the book and put it in my library.

In this book, our hero awaits Dorothees’ return while Frankenstein’s invade Canada.  poltergeist’s patrol the hollowed-out manufacturing sector. the future’s a let-down.  Contingency plans are hastily constructed. Every moment’s an apocalypse as divine grace pummels Metropolis like a blizzard of fists.

This is a great book of poems that uniquely captures themes that are mostly written in prose. It is a very unique way of presenting the ideas and themes that he wants to convey.

I loved the freshness of this book, and the fact that I can read this book in small fragments and snippets.  Its just so cool when authors try to expand the horizons of genres!
