Mind Platter by Najwa Zebian (1)

And here we go!  A brand new year unfolds!  I am SO excited for this year, and I look forward to getting to know some of the new and not so new members of this Canadian Book Review Challenge!

I will continue my summer reads segment every season. I think I will try to find seasonal reads every season that displays the season uniquely. This is because I love all the seasons of the year, especially here where we have four clearly demarcated seasons.

I loved this book!  It is a book that will keep readers reading and re-reading the book because of its depth and breath.

The book is structured in a unique way as short vignettes that are meaningful and will make the reader think.

The author covers topics such as staying true to yourself, resting your heart, let the mask fall off, be honest with others, how we treat others and how they treat us, care for the soul, don’t be shallow, how to be content, the power of silence, the philosophy of life, how to forgive and forget, how to protect your happiness, how to lead your heart, follow your soul, and much, much more.

I loved the book. These short snippets can be read once through or read and pondered slowly. The choice is yours. But it is a great summer read regardless of how you look at it!
