First Times by Charles Ghighna (139)

This is a picture book that will make kids and parents smile from ear to ear.

What child won’t remember the first times that they swung on a swing, slid down on a slide, saw a butterfly, noticed a bubble, brushed her own hair, put out and put on her own clothes for the next day, played a game alone, tied her own shoes, helped her mom make dinner and go shopping as well as ride a bicycle without stopping?

Then there are feats such as winning your first race, catch a ball for the first time, swim across a pool, walked to school with her friends without her mom or travel far away in an airplane.

All of these events can mark important moments in a child’s life. These moments are something that parents will want to remember for a long time. And this picture book will help them do just that.

This book is about all the first times that kids remember and experience. This can be a story that kids read for many years to come because they celebrate all the special moments of childhood.

I loved this book from start to finish.
