The Dog by Helen Mixter (103)

This is another picture book for kids that I absolutely love. It is about a human’s best friend.

Dogs can be great companions. This is especially the case when one is ill.

This picture book is about a boy who is ill and how one wonderful canine helped him right through recovery.

It is a book that is much endearing as it is cute. It is a book that kids will love and that parents will read and re-read.

The illustrations are stunning and they so vividly express the emotions that the sick boy feels as well as the expressions of the dog who truly loves the little boy.

Dogs and unconditional love!  Is there any more genuine love than that for a sick little boy?
