Hairy Leg News by Nancy Gardiner (45)

This is a wonderfully children’s book that I won as part of the Canadian Book Review challenge last year.  I also have another 2 books that I will also review in due time. So, I thought it was time to review these books.

This book is full of tips and tricks for staying calm and warm, balancing work and life on icy terrain.

This book will have seasoned winter veterans chortling in recognition, and southerners opening the refrigerator door on northern lifestyles!

In this wonderfully written book, Gardiner treats readers to her observations on topics such as surfing the winternet for tips on how to recognize a tropical beach, sleeping with snow plows groaning down the street all night, and what to do when the beauty cream sample in your mailbox is frozen.

This book is a hilarious look at how it is to live in the extreme north and how everything we southerners take for granted are well difficult indeed!
