Wild Berries by Julie Flett (15)

This is a wonderfully whimsical picture book for kids that will attract both the younger child and the older as well.

Who doesn’t love blueberries?  Most of us love the taste of them and we love to hold them. But they are also good to eat.

This book will take the reader through a day when Clarence and his grandmother go out to pick wild blueberries.

Along the way they meet a lot of unique characters such as an ant, spider, and fox in a beautiful woodland landscape.

This children’s book is especially perfect and special because the woodland landscape that is in the book is very much like the ancestral home of the author and illustrator Julie Flett.

This is a book that will be read and re-read by adults and children.
