In the Light of the Moon and Other Bedtime Stories by Sam McBratney (200)

I have one more picture book that I would like to review before the deadline!

This is a super-cute picture book for kids of all ages.  It is an award-winning author too!  How cool!

This book has literally been written with love and tenderness to inspire readers of all ages, whether young readers are being read to or not.

The stories are written for the smaller child, although it is listed for 9 to 12 year olds. Regardless, the stories are all wonderful bedtime material.

Sam McBratney’s distinctive storytelling voice brings a colorful cast of characters to life, including Bunty the daydreaming Tooth Fairy, Big Bog Frog the swamp bully, and three little mice out on a moonlit adventure.  Each page dances with the luminous warmth and witt of Kady MacDonald Denton’s illustrations, beautifully reflecting the rich variety of themes and the timeless charm of each story.  Together, the author and artist weave a tapestry of tales that makes bedtime the best time of the day!

What a GREAT book!
