Darwinia by Robert Charles Wilson (141)

This is my second novel by Robert Charles Wilson. I picked up the book that the same time when I was at my local library a few weeks ago.

This book is quite a stunning story too!  It is a story that should be read by everyone who is interested in futuristic and science fiction themes.

The story starts as a relatively simple adventure story. However, as the story progresses it is anything but. It is intricate and complex and it ebbs and flows like a fine opera.

Darwinia takes place in a world that is left reeling after Europe was transformed over night into a foreign and unexplored wilderness. The story follows the journey of Guilford Law who explores this new world and learns about the land and so much more.
The characters in the book are vivid and you will come away feeling that you know each of them. It is science fiction at its best, full of surprises and powerfully written. I just can’t say enough great things about this book. It is just a masterpiece in fiction writing.
