Canada by Mike Myers (123)

This is a wonderful nonfiction book that showcases Mike Myers’s most introspective memories of Canada when he lived here from 1963 to 1983. I always learn so much from Mike Myers about our wonderful Country!

Mike Myers is the man behind some of the most memorable comic characters of our time. He has often made winking allusion to Canada in his outrageously accomplished body of work–but now he turns the spotlight on full-beam.

This book is Myers’s insightful and frequently hilarious and wholly subjective analysis of what makes Canada what we are!

It is both a memoir of a Canadian at home and abroad, and wildly autobiographical investigation of a nation.

He is a true patriot who happens to be an expatriate. Myers is in a unique position to explain Canada from within and without. His literary debut brings his love of Canada to the fore at a time when the country is once again looking ahead with hope and national pride.

Myers book made me be very proud to be a Canadian. It is truly one of the most wonderful countries in the world to live!
