Canada Year by Year by Elizabeth MacLoed (75)

This is a wonderful exploration of Canada from the time it was born in 1867 to right now.  It hard to believe that next year our marvelous country turns 150 years old!

This is a unique look at Canadian history. It captures some of the most important milestones and many more in the ten chapters that are filled with sidebars, biographies, quotes, trivia, and engaging illustrations.

Its the story of the people, places, and events that have shaped the country — one year at a time.

Yes, we have come a long way. But it is a country that is rich in history, heritage and hard work. It is a country that we should all be proud of, because it is the best place to live in the whole world!

May we all enjoy it, and celebrate it! This book will help every reader do so.

I can see this book used for school projects too for elementary school children.
