Blinky the space Cat (52)

This is a wonderful graphic novel for kids. It is bold, adventurous, and so funny. I was laughing out loud while reading it.

This book is for the challenge this month with the Canadian Book Review Challenge.  I will be reviewing six graphic novels.

Blinky is a space cat or at least he thinks he is….LOL. He’s really a house cat who’s never left the family space station.

His mission is to one day blast off into outer space (outside), explore unknown places (the backyard) and battle aliens (bugs).

But Blinky is also a protector. He is protecting his humans from alien invaders. He gets to work building a rocket ship and preparing for galactic adventure.

But space travel training isn’t easy — it frequently leads to hair balls…

And just as he’s about to blast off with his co-pilot, Ted (stuffed mousie), Blinky realizes that he’s left something very important behind…and it’s not the zero-gravity kitty litter.

This book will keep the reader glued to the cartoons and the story line wondering what will happen next.
