Your Guide to Life on Earth (144)

This is a great picture book for kids by Gill Arbuthnott. It is a very interactive and informative book for the older kid, perhaps 8 to 13 even. But it can also be read by the younger child with the help of a parent to understand key concepts.

This book is in the Drawn to Science series. It also contains illustrated guides to key science concepts. It can definitely be a book that is used by school kids for school projects.

But beyond that, it is an interesting book, even for adults! It discusses how life began, cells, organizing organisms, naming organisms, the Six Kingdoms, Eubacteria and Archaebacteria, fungi, plantae, animalia, and much, much more. The book will amaze and provide a lot of information to kids of all ages.

This amazing guide starts with the very basics of life and explains the science behind the mystery of living things. Find out, which flower kidnaps beetles, how frogs can come back from the dead, and which male fish has babies!

This book will be most interesting to kids who are interested in science and the many organisms and plants that are around us. The photographs bring the information to life.
