Noni Says No (122)

This is another ne of Genevieve Cote’s wonderful picture books. I just love her picture books. I think it is time for me to review a few of her books here on my Canadian blog.

Most kids learn to say No very early on. However. a bit later, kids cannot say No. They are afraid what people will think of them and they believe that they lose their friends if they are honest with them.

This story shows how Noni struggles with being honest and saying No, but instead keeps saying Yes to things that she doesn’t want to accept. It gets to the point that she is furious and frustrated. Finally, she says NO!!!!!!

I think kids of all ages will learn the importance of saying NO after reading this important picture book for kids by an author who doesn’t disappoint. Here topics are extremely important for kids.
