The Swans of Stratford by Robert J. Miller (108)

This is a book about the swans of Stratford. It is written by the Honorary Keeper of the swans in Stratford.  What a splendid job he did with the swans until he passed away a while ago.

The Avon River has long been a treasured part of Stratford. Like the Festival Theatre, the Avon River make the town what it is. And the river would not be the same without the beautiful, downy soft white swans who grace the river as people stroll beside the river.

I have always loved the Avon River. One of the reasons I moved to Stratford from Toronto quite a few years ago was because of the beauty of the river and the swans. there are so many wonderful memories to be made at the river and moments that will be cherished for a life time by all who seek console and peace at the river.

This is a wonderful book about Stratford for anyone who is interested in a small quaint town in southwestern Ontario.
