Petal It! How Bicycles are Changing The World (105)

61ULrq7sI7L._SX258_BO1,204,203,200_[1]This is a wonderful picture book for kids on cycling. It is book like no other that I have ever read.  It is educational and inspiring at the same time. And it has wonderful information in it as well–information that will appeal to kids of all ages.

For instance, I didn’t know that bikes can be used to power computers, sharpen knives, perform lab tests, and light a building?!!!  I also didn’t know that it is possible to get a sick person to the hospital on a bicycle in a big city–probably faster than an ambulance can take a person because of traffic.

This book celebrates the humble bicycle. It shows all the different bikes that are out there and the functions that they can be used for.

Bikes can also make the world a better place, one biker at a time.
