O Canada: Our National Anthem (104)

51CM6qA73hL[1]This book is part of the Book Mine Challenge for April.  It is a great challenge. It was hard to find any books about the National Anthem. But I did manage to get a couple. I will be reviewing them both.

This picture book looks at Canada through the words of our national anthem. It is a unique take on the provinces in Canada and some of the places that near and far.

Canada is defined in terms of Hockey, farming, water, mountains, the true north, serving in the military to protect this beautiful land, true patriot love, moose, birds, especially geese, and many more things. This book is a like a kaleidoscope of colour and hope as well as inspiration.

The photographs in this book is quite stunning and striking and they define what Canada truly is.

This book can also be used for school projects by kids of all ages.

Thank you John for setting up this wonderful challenge!
