Book of Mercy by Leonard Cohen (88)

This is a companion volume to Leonard Cohen’s most recent collection of poetry, The Book of Longing.

I loved this book, and although it is not a book of poetry, and is not necessarily part of our challenge for the Canadian Book Mine it is great book in its own right.

The reflections are honest, compassionate, and some of them will make you laugh out loud or cry. There is no predicting the emotions that will come out of the reader’s mind and heart as she reads this volume.

This volume as the others show the brilliance of Leonard Cohen’s mind and heart. He is a Canadian songwriter and singer like no other. He sees the world through unique eyes and heart, and I love sharing this beautiful country with a mind that is as great as this!

Thank you Leonard for sharing your heart and soul in this book!

Again, any Leonard Cohen fan MUST read this book, even if she reads no other! IMO!!!!
