I’ll Tell you One Damn Thing, and That is All I know (17)

Jann ArdenThis is a wonderful book by Jann Arden.  It is written in a journal-like manner, and it spans almost two years. It is a book that will make you laugh, cry and everything in between.

I have been reading a lot of Canadian song writers for the Canadian Book Review challenge for this year, and this is one book that I completely loved. I read it during my bedtime for a month, and I always fell asleep inspired and elated.  How wonderful!

Jann’s meanderings in this book focus on everything that she came across in her travels from goose poop to ponder the state of the world, to the state of the states, and the state of her hair. This will truly be a book that the reader will keep on her bedside table to refer to quite often.

I recommend this book to all of the readers of the Book Mine Challenge. Please take a look at it, and fall in love to with Jann Arden all over again, if you haven’t already through her music.
