Chicken Soup for the Soul (94)

51SgZhsLayL[1]There are certain things that it is distinctly Canadian to do, such as wearing a poppy, cheering your favourite team during Hockey night in Canada, and listen to some local fiddlers. All of these things evoke fond feelings of being Canadian. This book captures the events, the history, the landscapes, and most importantly the people who have shaped Canada’s distinctive charm and character.

These stories show how wonderful it is to be a Canadian and what makes us distinctly Canadian. With chapters On Being a Canadian, Living Your Dream, overcoming Obstacles, On Love, On Kindness, Special Connections, This Great Land, and Making a Difference, these stories weave a rich tapestry of life in this spectacular country.

This book will instill a renewed pride to be Canadian in a well-deserving country and its people.

Thank you John Mutford for setting up this challenge for us reviewers.

I just recently came across this book. I didn’t know there were Canadian books in the Chicken Soup collection. Looking forward to reading it and the others you reviewed previously. They are such cozy reads.
