Philippines: The People
By Greg Nickles

This is a wonderful picture book about the people in the Philippines. It is a treasure trove of wonderful facts and observations about a people who the author very much admires and loves.

The book discusses the many islands and people in the Philippines, families and traditions, life in the countryside, city life, school life, sports and pastimes, clothing and decoration, flavours of the Philippines, and Francisco Day. What a great cross-section of facts about the Filipinos.

I loved the book from beginning to end. What a GREAT resource for anyone interested in history and geography. This book could also be used by students at schools for history and geography projects.
