The Best of Herman: By Jim Unger (51)

Well, its official! I’ve been Hermanized!!!

I just love Unger’s comic books. I have been reading 6 of them for the Canadian Book Review Challenge. John Mutford is GREAT at finding challenges that I absolutely love. And this one doesn’t disappoint.

So, here is a review of my first Herman comic book. More to come!!!!

This is a GREAT comic book about the Jim Unger’s upcoming retirement. After twenty-five years of tedious toil on the job, he is ready to leave and look for something else to do.

Before he leaves though, he compiles some of his best Herman panels. These are hilarious funny and I would encourage anyone who would like a good laugh to read it.

The really unique thing about this comic book is although it is funny, it is also real. Anyone who is close to retirement will be able to relate to his plight.

Thank you Jim for such a GREAT book!
