What are Cirrus Clouds (49)

What are Cirrus Clouds?
By Lynn Peppas

This is an informative picture book for kids published by Crabtree Publishing Company. It is a wonderfully illustrated book on the types of clouds that there are and how children can learn to decipher between them.

Lynn Peppas argues that there are stratus and cumulus clouds, cirrus clouds, and cirrocumulus clouds. She even shows the reader how to make his/her own cloud journal. How inspiring.

Lastly, Lynn Peppas has an index of words to know when it comes to clouds and the atmosphere. I know that kids will love this book. I plan to read it to my friend’s kids in a few weeks. It will definitely make for a good time.

Despite being an educational book that can certainly be used in the classroom, I think it is an entertaining read as well.
