Bad Dirt: Wyoming Stories 2 (27)

Bad Dirt
Wyoming Stories 2
By Annie Proulx

These stories are beautifully written. It is the second book in the Wyoming series.

The book has serious and sad overtones. The characters in this collection of stories struggle with so many different hardships. The Wyomingites are bound by their land and custom. Because of this, a lot of them are isolated and dangerous.

Annie shows an amazing knowledge of Wyoming and the West. She also is interested in describing the Wyoming landscape. Wyoming has been described as the emptiest state. I can see why this is so now.

Thank you Annie for another masterpiece of a book!
