The Saver (18)

The Saver
By Edeet Ravel

I have been enthralled lately by books written by Edeet Ravel. She is an absolutely wonderful writer! Once I start reading her books, I can’t stop reading until I have read the whole book!

And “The Saver” is no exception. It is a young adult novel with grace and charm. It will keep the reader reading, and wondering what will happen to Fern.

Fern is not your typical teen. She unfortunately looses her mother very early in her life. Because of this tragedy, she starts trying to fend for herself. Life is hard. But her sheer determination makes it possible for her to not only make it but excel and make a life for herself. She has to work three jobs to make it. But she does continue on until she starts finding it hard to do all three jobs well. Can she find someone to help her out?

I absolutely fell in love with Fern. She is a great character, one that teens can learn a lot from. She has determination and zeal–something that many teens lack nowadays.

Thank you Edeet for such a wonderful and inspiring book!
