Extreme Mean (13)

Extreme Mean
By: Paula Todd

This book is about a very important topic–internet bullies! And sadly there are more and more of them today. So, it is important for us to arm our kids and teens with as much knowledge as possible about this mean and terrible stuff. And this book will do just that.

Todd’s book is a real, honest look at how bad our internet has become and how much abuse is on it. Our kids are exposed to so much online that they can be damaged for a long time especially their reputation if they are not careful who they hang out with. Yet no one really knows who is at the other end of an internet line, so to speak. It could literally be anybody. And this is the scary part of the internet and the reason why Todd’s book is a must-read for every parent and teen.

The internet is not longer some safe social medium to communicate and hang out on. It is a social media that is prone to cyber stalkers who target people and teens. Also, ugly rumours could viral in a matter of seconds. So, we have to make sure that we guard ourselves against these bullies.

Thank you Paula for such a wonderfully informative book. It will probably save our lives and those of our kids as well. No one can afford not to read the book!
