How to Fix a Lie (99)

How to Fix a Lie
by Nancy Wilcox Richards

This is a GREAT middle grade novel about a very important topic: lying and telling stories.

Abby is excited because the end of school is coming within a month. She is looking forward to her summer holidays. All she has to get through is her project. She hopes to be teamed up with the people she likes. But unfortunately she is teamed up with Gracie, a person who most people are trying to avoid, including Abby.

Gracie is a regular girl at school, except that she tells a lot of stories. It gets so bad that no one can tell whether she is telling the truth or lies. People don’t want to be her friend and they don’t trust her.

Can Abby get Gracie to see that lying is not good for her and can actually ruin friendships that could have been beautiful!
