The Bully Solution: By Carol McMullen (87)

The Bully Solution is a wonderful book about bullying and how parents can empower their children to stop bullying in its tracks once and for all.

Bullying is becoming an increasingly big and dangerous problem in schools and communities all across Canada and the United States. Kids feel helpless to deal with bullies and many kids lose their sense of self-esteem and self-confidence at the hands of bullies which can last a lifetime.

It is important for parents and teachers to catch bullying behavior before it becomes serious whether their kids are bullying other kids or suffering at the hands of bullies themselves. Either way, parents must do something to help their kids.

Kids who bully others are hurting and angry. Then they lash out at others to feel better about themselves. Many times, bullies feel that they have very little control. And bullying gives them this false sense of control.

Kids who suffer in the hands of bullies usually can’t fend for themselves very well. They feel powerless and vulnerable and bullies can detect this a mile away. Its like bullies have a sixth sense for kids who feel vulnerable and weak.

The good news is that parents can help their kids to overcome the negative effects of bullies. This book offers a lot of advice on how to do this. But most importantly parents have to open lines of communication about bullying with their kids.

Bullying should not prevent your child from being happy and healthy at school. Parents can take steps to avoid this situation. And Carol shows us how to do this in this wonderful book!

Thank you Carol for such a GREAT resource for parents!
