The Sidewalk Rescue (79)

The Sidewalk Rescue
Written by: Hazel Hutchins
Art by Ruth Ohi

This is a GREAT picture book about sidewalk art. Kids can transform a dull and monotonous sidewalk with butterflies, and flowers. The kids are having a lot of fun, but does everyone appreciate their art work?

This book is an imaginative and hilarious journey for kids of all ages. They will really enjoy this story that kinda of resembles an adventure for kids. I just love the feel of the story and I am very sure that readers of all ages will as well.

This book is written by Hazel Hutchins. She is a master of gentle, humorous stories for young people. She has written more than 25 books for children, including Too  So Small and I’d Know You Anywhere. Hazel lives in Canmore, Alberta.

Ruth Ohi has illustrated many of Hazel Hutchins’ books. Her joyous illustrations are familiar to families all over North America. This is Ruth’s 31st book with Annick Press. Ruth, her husband and two daughters live in Toronto.
