A GREAT Picture Book by Kathy Stinson (47)

A Pocket can have a Treasure in It
By Kathy Stinson
Illustrated by Deidre Betteridge

This is a great read-aloud picture book for kids 3 and up. It will fascinate kids and transport them onto a farm where there are many adventures to be had.

The farm is a perfect place for an adventuresome and inquisitive girl. There are surprises along the way and a lot of excitement. And who knows what things the girl will find in her pocket by the end of the book.

The text ask the reader questions so that it is interactive and keeps the child thinking and guessing the answers. The illustrations are bright and wonderful. The text is lilting and charming. It will become a child’s favorite picture book.

Kathy Stinson is the author of more than 20 books for children, including the all-time bestseller Red is Best. She lives outside of Toronto.

Deidre Betteridge has illustrated many picture books, including Bright Red Kisses by Teresa Toten. She lives in Whitby, Ontario.
