Keturah & Lord Death by Martine Leavitt (24)

This book shows Martine Leavitt at her best as a writer and story-teller.  The story is spell-binding and mesmerizing, a book teens won’t be able to put down until they have read the book from beginning to end.

Keturah is a beautiful woman who is 16 years of age. She lives with her grandmother in a small cottage near the forest. Keturah tells her friend’s of being lost in the forest and how she met a dark figure on horseback–Lord Death himself. She tries to bargain with him for her life. But her pact with Death isolates from all the others and makes her dreams of love and family increasingly remote. Only by finding her one true love before the sun sets can she break this spell and escape the cold clutches of Death.  Despite how hard it is, she can’t give up and she must continue on.
