Heck Superhero (22)

How can a superhero get himself into trouble and find himself without a home, skipping school and stealing from his best friend?

So much can happen to teens ever day.  There’s peer pressure and all the dangers of living on the street that Heck Superhero endured and experienced first hand. But his mother also falls into hard times when she finds that she forgets to pay the rent and is evicted. Heck Superhero is forced to learn a lot of important lessons quickly growing up on the streets such as drugs, pain, hunger, theft, and homelessness. He must also come to terms with his perceptions of himself and others.

This is a wonderfully moving book. Hopefully, not every teen’s life will be as hard as Heck Superhero’s.
