123 Versus ABC by Mike Boldt (17)

This is a humorous book about how numbers and letters can get along. Although it is written in a funny manner, it has a lot of important messages contained in it.

Never before have I read a counting book that is also an ABC book. So, kids can learn both and also be mesmerized by the beautiful illustrations!  What a bonus.

But what’s more, the reader will be able to learn that different things can coexist and even thrive. They can do so by learning from each other and through compassion. What a great message for all of us.

Also, we should not judge others by outside appearances. Instead, we should be compassionate and patient. Then all will be made better in the world.

Mike Boldt creates books in the far-off kingdom of Spruce Grove, Alberta where numbers and letters live in peace. when he’s not sharing a bite of his ice cream sundae with his wife, he can be found reading stories and playing Lego’s with his three children.
