Book Review: Canada’s Natural Resources by Carrie Gleason (6)

This is a real gem of a book about Canada’s natural resources. I was astounded by some of what Canada has to offer all of us.

For instance, did you know that parts of your computer come from deep in the earth? Or, were you aware that mining companies in the Far North built a 6,000-kilometer ice road that can only be used only during the winter? These are only a few of the facts you will learn about this great country of ours after reading this book.

Canada is a big country, and it has a lot to offer in terms of natural resources. Because of the different environments in our country, there are many things in nature that we can all use such as paper to the food we eat to the energy for our homes.

So, get ready to learn why we need to take care of our natural resources for today and the future.

This is a great book for young and old. I certainly learned a few things after reading the book too.
