A GREAT Picture Book for Kids (4)

When We Go Walking
By Cari Best
Illustrated by: Krysten Brooker

This is a wonderful picture book for kids by a gifted writer and Canadian illustrator from Alberta, Canada.

What child doesn’t enjoy gong for a walk? But what child finds treasures along her walk which she wants to keep?

Well, Wendy does in this story. She finds all sorts of treasures on her walk on Rambling Road and unlike the other children, she gets to keep all her stuff. Her parents ask her if she really needs all these things. But she insists that she does.

Then one snowy day, when they are snowed in, Wendy walks around her room and looks at all of the things she collected over time. What does she did with them all?

This is a GREAT picture book for kids about accumulating things. We all have too many things. Perhaps sometimes it is best not to have so many things.
