This is a unique cook book from the food Editor of The Toronto Star. She has tested hundreds of recipes, and this book hallmarks some of the best and most flavorful recipes. In addition, the recipes she showcases are easy to follow and make. They only take 15 or so minutes. So, none of us have the excuse not to cook at home.
Jennifer includes recipes from the province’s chefs, farmers, home cooks, food writers, store owners and many others. She also includes recipes from two dozen cultures, reflecting the province’s rich multicultural food scene and some Canadian classics. The photography in the book is also stunning, and mouth-watering. So, the reader will be encouraged to cook many different recipes.
I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. I just ordered the book to add to my collection of cookbooks.
