A Picture Book Review by a Canadian Author (42)

Put Me In A Book
By: Robert Munsch
Illustrated by: Michael Martchenko

Here is another hilarious picture book for kids. It is a story kids will want to read over and over again!

Which child would not want a writer to put her in a book? Hailey believes she will be popular and looked up to. It would help her be known to so many people. But there are many different ways of being in a book. The way Hailey ends up in the writer’s book was snot exactly as she planned. She discovered very quickly that this way of being a in book is well, not exactly welcome.

Despite the fact that the book has hilarious overtones, it is a book that should be read with a parent. I also think that it is a book for a slightly older readership.
