A Pioneer Christmas (37)

A pioneer christmas

This is a wonderfully inspirational and educational book for kids about Christmas during the pioneer days.

This is no ordinary Christmas for the Robertson`s. They are expecting visitors. But as a winter storm begins to rage, the family is worried about the travelers. How can Andrew and Sophie arrive at their destination for the holidays.

While reading this book, kids will discover what Christmas was like during the pioneer days. The reader will also learn how to stir the pudding just the right way, how to make special wishes. Lastly, the reader will learn how to bake decorative cookies, create garlands using popcorn and cranberries.

So, even in 1841, Christmas was still a very special time of year.
