A November Book Review for The Canadian Book Review Challenge(26)

This is a cute and hilarious picture book about Oddrey. She’s a girl who dares to be different. She prefers to do things that truly define who she is.

Oddrey believes it is very important to live her own life by thinking for herself. Sometimes, she feels lonely and wants others to see her point of view. Then during a school play, Oddrey gets a chance to really shine and to branch out. She takes the opportunity to heart. The reader will be surprised by Oddrey’s transformation.

This is a great picture book with an important message for kids. It is so important for girls to have the courage to be themselves, regardless of how out-of-place they feel as a result.
