Another Book Review for the Sixth Annual Book Review Challenge (24)

The Juliet Stories
By Carrie Snyder

This is a great and engaging book y an award-winning Ontario author! She has an amazing knack for story telling that will compel the reader to read on and on until the book is read in its entirety. I read the book in one sitting on a rainy Sunday.

I love the prose in this book. It is mesmerizing and precise. It is a story set against the backdrop of the political turmoil in Nicaragua during the 1980’s. So, there are historical connotations as well in the book that will transport the reader to another place and time.

What a great read by a GREAT writer!
