Third book for the 6th Annual Canadian Book Challenge

This is a great picture book for kids by a Canadian author and illustrator.

It is about a boy called Night who cannot sleep at night. He thinks that there is so much more to do than sleep. When the sun sets, he travels in a spaceship to destinations unknown. He loves to play in the evening with his older sister. Night is a real energetic boy.

Most kids will be able to relate to Night. After all, how many kids wouldn’t LOVE to just stay up and do different things during the night. This book will take the reader on many an imaginary trip.

I can picture parents reading this book with their kids and trying to convince them that it is indeed time to go to bed. They can’t be like Night.

The illustrations are vivid and wonderfully done too. They will keep all readers engaged from beginning to end.
