This is a great Canadian picture book with a wonderful message. It can be difficult to talk to kids about forgiveness. This book will open up that whole possibility very well.
Although forgiveness is hard, it is possible to achieve through patience, love, compassion and diligence. Forgiveness is a slow process which occurs as time goes on.
The story is very cute. There are sad overtones to the story but it has a happy ending. How great is that!
