Reflections on the Canadian Book Review Challenge for 2011-2012

Hello Fellow Canadian Readers!

As I get ready to end this year’s Canadian Book Review Challenge, I can’t help but think about all the enjoyment that I had from reading and posting my reviews. What a great experience this has been. I would have never been aware of all the wonderful Canadian books that there are out there, and the kind of talent we have here in Canada.

Being a freelance writer myself, I am very encouraged by this. Also, when I first started this challenge, I never knew that I would read 51 books! I thought I would be struggling to get my 13 books read….hahahahaha. That is really something. I even surprised myself.

So, as Canada Day draws closer, I think I will celebrate! What a great year it has been celebrating Canadian authors, one book at a time.

Thank you John for making this challenge possible, and I look forward to the next one which starts in a few days…..

Happy Canada Day Everyone!
