Little Athletes, Big Leaders-Canadian Book Challenge

Little Athletes, Big Leaders
By: Bruce Beaton

This is a great book about how parents can ensure that their kids become great leaders through effective sport parenting. Kids can learn how to do their best every day, improve, and live with the results. Kids can learn to control what they can control and let go of the rest. They can also control their mindset and bring their mindset to any future challenges in their lives.

The values kids learn while playing sports are how to set goals, endure, take criticism, become team players, use their beliefs, stay healthy, and deal with stress. This can prepare kids for life. One of the goals of parenting is to raise happy children with high self-esteem who understand that they can make a positive impact on the world while doing what they love.

Beaton’s book will show parents how to raise such children. Parents have to be an example of excellent behaviour for kids to emulate. Parenting today’s kids is hard work. Beaton will make the process a lot easier.

This is a book by a Canadian author, and parent. I couldn’t put the book down. I was enthralled by the message in the book. This book is for parents who want to bring up teens who will be happy and will the leaders of tomorrow.
