This is a wonderful picture book about Cinderella, a disabled girl in a wheelchair. Because she’s in a wheelchair, she feels different from everyone else and is constantly mistreated and abused by her sisters and step mother. Yet, Cinderella does everything she can to help her sisters and her step-mother on a daily basis. Yet, when Cinderella has a wish, they did everything they could to stop her from achieving her dreams.
Then one day a magical character appeared to Cinderella’s rescue and gave her not only all of her heart’s desires but a lot more than she ever dreamed possible. Her sisters and step mother were stunned. There is even an unexpected marriage proposal by the Prince! And it is true love! What a wonderful and uplifting message for kids of all ages by a Canadian author.
