Volkswagen Blues
By: Jacques Poulin
This is one of Jacques Poulin’s best books. The story is about a journey like no other in search for his brother. In the process, Jack discovers a lot about himself and his brother. The story is written in a very vivid and engaging manner that will captivate the reader’s attention from beginning to end. I was entranced by the story and could not put the book down until I finished reading it all.
The book is entertaining with odd characters and moments of sheer seamless pleasure. The background landscape of the book is wonderfully portrayed and described as well. I was transported back to my place of origin. What a treat from a Quebec author. I can’t wait to read his next book.
